As a... Test Specialist/Consultant
I would like... Get the coverage of test cases filtered in a report
So that I... know the proportion of test cases that met the report criteria against the whole numer of test cases for the projects involved in the report.

I have rephrased it and changed the status to gather interest. There is no short term plan to address that today. I'll keep consolidating feedback on this and other ideas so we could group related ideas.

    Hello David,

yes, so we have custom field of Coverage (custom select list) to define each test case is Manual or Automated and would like to see the percentage of coverage in Reports, to see visually automation coverage of all test cases

    thank you in advance,

    Hello Nino,

Let me clarify what you need. Maybe we will need to rephrase the idea so we can see if more people need this kind of functionality. What you need is to know the proportion of tests that meet the criteria against all the tests in the projects that yo have selected for this report. Is that correct?

Can I ask why this is important for you in this report? Why do you do with this information?

    Hello Dee,

Do we have any news on this issue? Have you already started it or planning to do ? we just wonder when we can use and see the coverage of test cases approximately

    Hi Deita,

do we have some news for this issue?

what do you think how complex is to make it?

    Hello Deita,

In the "status" you mean the filtered test cases when criteria is "Automated" right? what do you mean exactly?
And for the coverage I meant to see the percentage of all the test cases within one project and within many projects with Gadgets. But if it is possible to see it with criteria as well both would be great

Thanks Nino. On the chart you've shared, you can see 49 test cases that meet this criteria.

You've mentioned you'd like to see the percentage of test cases - do you mean the percentage out of all the test cases in the project? Or the percentage of test cases per status that meet this criteria?

    Thanks for your feedback :)

    Hello Deita,

thank you for your answer, my question was about Automated test cases coverage (coverage is the custom filed), now we can see the quantity of Automated cases in Test Library Report but can we count the percentage of automation cases ? Not only quantity

    Hi Nino.

If you choose "Custom Query" you can filter by custom fields on a test case, such as "automated".

    Does that answer your questions?
